FROM THE WINEMAKER,
JENNIFER WALL
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to be sending out our fourth edition of the
J. Lynne
Russian River Valley Wines newsletter!
Here at J. Lynne Wines, we focus on making quality, small
production, hand crafted Russian River Valley wines. We’ve
been doing this since the 2002 vintage.
Harvest 2007 has come and gone and we are thrilled with the
quality of fruit from this vintage. We picked and pressed
just over 9 tons of Cameron Ranch Chardonnay and we picked
exactly 15 tons of Pinot Noir. The wines are full of varietal
flavors and have fantastic color; they are now enjoying time
in French oak barrels while going through secondary fermentation.
Following the bottling and release of the 2006 vintage of
the J. Lynne Russian River Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir,
we immediately started to submit these wines into wine competitions.
At the first wine competition entered, the Sonoma
County Harvest Fair wine competition, we garnered
medals for both wines. Most notably a GOLD
MEDAL on the J. Lynne Russian River Valley Chardonnay.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that The
Wine Enthusiast rated our 2005 J.
Lynne Russian River Chardonnay 90 POINTS in the November
1, 2007 edition. The 2005 J. Lynne Chardonnay is available
at local wine shops.

We wish you and your family a happy, healthy and wonderful
holiday season and hope you consider enjoying a bottle of
J. Lynne wine as a part of your special celebrations.
As always, your interest, support and consumption are appreciated!
Cheers,
